Let's face it. Pumpkin pie is good but is it that good? If Aunt Betsie didn't make that bland crusted, somewhat gelatinous, food-like item every year would you really miss it? Be honest now.
For me the answer would be a great big no. That's why we'll be enjoying this Velvety Pumpkin Soup with Blue Cheese & Bacon instead. Yum!
