Yays- Recycled Newspaper Yarn!

Okay, as some of you may know, I am a self-professed ungreenie. I eat organic when I can get it free or cheap after coupons and sales. I use cloth bags due to Aldi charging for plastic and paper. I combine trips based on the need for more gas money and babysitter time limit. So basically, I'm green-friendly but it's a choice based on my wallet rather than willpower. (I'm also a self-professed slacker.) Where does that fit in with this post, you might be wondering.

Did you know you can recycled newspaper and make it into yarn? GreenUpgrader shows you how. You can then use it to crochet, knit, etc with. Coming back to my main point, even better, you can sell it! Seriously, I've seen it sold on etsy, no joke.

Now, am I likely to put forth that much effort? Not at this point in my life. Still, I think this is pretty neat. If you manage to make any drop me a line and a pic of the finished project- yarn or completed craft. Linky love is free here.

I remember seeing this but I had no idea there was a tutorial on how to make the yarn. I will definitely be checking this out.
